truth is a many faceted beast that can rear its heads in many places at once.

In art, truth needs to be piece by piece.  A manner that works for one piece of art, one painting, and rings as tearfully true might be but a false veneer if applied to another piece.  

As artist, at our best we seek truth.  And for truth to be rendered well it we need to be true to ourselves…not denying parts of ourselves. and the piece needs to be true as well, to itself.  A manner that works in one piece is mere mannerism for another piece.
